In this guide you will find testing standards ranging from a number of tests that are often used in field sports for an all round athletic view of your performance. Each test will provide a goal weight, or number which you should be able to achieve given your bodyweight, age or position. The idea is to become a well rounded athlete and hit the standards across strength, power, flexibility, speed and aerobic fitness.

 

This document is simply a guide for you to self assess and see where you might need to make adjustments to your training. I would advise continually testing these areas every 12 weeks to keep yourself accountable and training specifically to excel in rugby league.
